All Charnwood u3a members are welcome to attend open events and our Monthly Meetings. Group events, however, are restricted to the members of a specific group. For further information about an event, click on the event name.

Monthly Meetings

Our Monthly Meetings are open to all members of Charnwood u3a. They are held in Emmanuel Church at 2:30 pm on the second Wednesday of the month. These are occasions to meet other members and to hear a talk/presentation from an invited speaker or a member of u3a.

N.B. There is no monthly meeting in August.

Day Trips and Holidays

Day trips are organised by the Days of Interest group. Trips with overnight stays are organised by the Travel group. These events are open to all members of Charnwood u3a, but priority is given to members of the organising group. If you wish to go on one of these trips, please contact one of the event organisers.

Group Leaders Meetings and Training Sessions

These are open events intended for a particular subset of members. All group leaders are eligible to attend the Group Leaders meetings; please contact the Groups Coordinator if you wish to attend one of these. Training sessions are organised from time to time to introduce the website to those taking on new responsibilities; please contact one of the organisers listed in the details for the session if you wish to attend one of these.
