The Art Appreciation group meets on the third Tuesday of the month at the Methodist Church Hall from 10.00 – 2.30pm.
We study Western painting from the 12th century up to modern times. The varied sessions take the form of slide lectures with group participation. For example, members try to identify and research a “mystery” image each month and we have occasional quizzes - with prizes!
